Dorothy Kwofie stage name Dorothea Kwofie is a dynamic actress born on the 17th of August, 1980 to the family of Professor & Mrs E.N Kwofie. She is half Nigerian half Ghanaian.

She has since featured in top-notch movies such as "Cracked" (a Charles Okafor  movie) "Heavy beauty" (a Grace Oboba Edwin-Okon movie) directed by Stanlee Ohikuare, 
She has also worked with veteran producer and director, Chico Ejiro in "The Presidents Daughter" and "Criminal love"

More recently, her roles have included major roles in soaps such as "Tinsel, About to wed, Bella's place, The School directed by Charles Nnojie, Save our Souls directed by Moses "sneeze" Inwang, Bad Break directed by Tony Imole starring Fred Amata, Nobert Young,
And currently plays the sub lead character, Clara Johnson, in "Echoes", (a soap produced by Galaxy Television)

Dorothea Kwofie is presently shooting  as the character Kato in Made In Nigeria - The contractor, Tope in Second Function a short movie (produced and directed by Adebowale Ogundipe of Freeman Franzinni. Next year she hopes to be in Ghana where she intends to showcase her special effects makeup skills within the Ghanaian movie industry.
